As a non-governmental organization, our membership primarily consists of academics, and we operate without paid staff. Our research interests span a wide range of sociological topics including moral values, disadvantaged groups, disability rights, migration, violence, crime, victims’ rights, children’s rights development, and more. We are dedicated to developing and implementing original projects that benefit our country through applied sociology, aiming to provide valuable sociological data to policymakers, the scientific community, and others in need.Over the years, we have successfully completed numerous projects nationally and internationally through collaborations with ministries, universities, municipalities, and various institutions.

Spolupracou pre lepsiu buducnost – Velky Meder / (E10067367 – SK)

The primary goal of the Civil Association Spoluprácou pre lepšiu budúcnosť – Veľký Meder is to foster and enhance citizen engagement across local, regional, national, and international levels in various aspects of social life, particularly in:

a) Education, lifelong learning, and extracurricular endeavors
b) Advancing social responsibility initiatives
c) Promoting legal awareness
d) Facilitating the (re)integration of job seekers into the workforce, with a focus on marginalized communities.

The association operates through the following divisions:
– Client services, catering to both citizens and employers.
– Project management and international collaboration, actively engaging in the conception, execution, and financial oversight of projects funded by EU sources.
– Adult education, overseeing educational programs tailored for adult learners.

Dezavantajli Gruplari Anlama ve Sosyal Destek Dernegi (DEGDER) / (E10170910 – TR)

DEGDER was founded by experienced and professional group of lawyer, academics of Sociology departments, psychological counsellors, child development and rehabilitation experts in Ankara. The association has about 100 members for the time being. DEGDER team is comprised of people from distinguished occupations, but all of them have worked on disadvantaged groups for many years.

It prioritises disadvantaged women, people with disabilities, immigrants, uneducated youngsters, long-term unemployed persons, homeless, people who experience severe poverty, old people and socially isolated other groups. Our activities encompass trainings, advocacy, empowerment programs, violence prevention, mental health initiatives, educational support, and collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities. Our mission is to comprehensively address the unique challenges faced by these marginalised groups, fostering inclusivity, empowerment and social support.
