Kick-Off Meeting of the PRO-WOMEN Project Held in Bolu

The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU project titled “Professional Support for Women in Rural Areas in a Holistic Way for a Rapidly Evolving Labour Market (PRO-WOMEN)” was successfully held on January 2–3, 2025, in Bolu, Türkiye.

Hosted by the project coordinator AHLAKDER, the meeting brought together representatives from partner organizations SPLB (Slovakia) and DEGDER (Türkiye). The event started with welcome speeches, followed by a presentation by Prof. Dr. Yahya Mustafa Keskin, who introduced AHLAKDER and its role within the project.

Throughout the first day, each partner organization presented their institutional background and shared insights on the current situation and efforts related to the empowerment and training of professionals working to support women. Participants engaged in a fruitful international forum where good practices, challenges, and strategies in the field of women’s empowerment and education were discussed.

In the afternoon sessions, key project components such as task distribution, partner responsibilities, the dissemination plan, and project logo were collaboratively finalized. The initial project implementation plan and deadlines were also outlined.

On the second day, discussions focused on project management, financial procedures, and the quality assurance plan. Partners contributed their ideas to enhance the quality of the project outputs and set the date for the next transnational meeting.

The meeting concluded with an evaluation session, certificate distribution, a thank-you speech, and a social programme.

The PRO-WOMEN project aims to develop holistic support mechanisms for women living in rural areas to help them adapt to the rapidly changing labour market.
